Newborn & Family Photography
1. Booking & Reservation
Newborn sessions are ideally photographed between 5–12 days after birth. We recommend booking during pregnancy to secure availability around your due date.
Your due date will be tentatively reserved in our calendar. Once baby arrives, the final session date will be confirmed.
A non-refundable retainer is required to secure all bookings. Reservations are not confirmed without payment.
Due to limited availability and the custom nature of our work, last-minute bookings are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
2. Retainer, Payments & Pricing
A non-refundable retainer secures your session and is applied toward your package.
The remaining balance is due on the session day.
All prices are subject to change without prior notice; however, confirmed bookings will honour the agreed rate at the time of reservation.
Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation and forfeiture of all paid amounts.
3. Rescheduling & Cancellations
We understand that babies arrive on their own timeline.
- Newborn sessions may be rescheduled without penalty due to early or late arrival.
- Other rescheduling requests require a minimum of 3 working days’ notice.
- Cancellations require 14 working days’ notice.
The retainer is non-refundable. Approved cancellations may receive a studio credit valid for 3 months.
Sessions rescheduled more than once may incur a rescheduling fee.
Late arrivals beyond 15 minutes may incur a $30 fee per additional 15 minutes.
Arrivals exceeding 30 minutes may result in cancellation without refund.
4. Studio & In-Home Sessions
Most sessions take place in our studio, designed for optimal lighting, safety, and access to our curated styling collection.
In-home sessions are available at an additional fee. Certain styled setups are studio-exclusive and may not be replicated on location.
All styling selections must be confirmed at least 3–5 working days prior to your session. Changes requested after confirmation cannot be guaranteed.
5. Session Experience & Safety
All sessions are baby-led and safety-first.
Session duration typically ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours, allowing time for feeding and settling.
While we aim to capture a beautiful variety of images, baby cooperation cannot be guaranteed. Outcomes vary based on baby temperament, health, and timing.
Parents remain responsible for their children at all times during the session.
By attending your session, you acknowledge and accept that participation involves inherent risks. Cherubfoto is not liable for unforeseen incidents, injuries, allergic reactions, or medical conditions that arise during or after the session.
6. Artistic Direction & Image Selection
By booking, you acknowledge that you are hiring Cherubfoto for its distinct artistic style and creative discretion.
Final image selection and editing style remain at the photographer’s discretion.
Unedited RAW files are not delivered under any circumstances.
Additional edits beyond standard retouching may incur additional charges.
7. Image Delivery & Archiving
Edited galleries are delivered within 3-14 working days via private online viewing.
Printed products and albums require approximately 2–4 weeks for production after final approval.
Clients must download digital files within 7 working days of gallery delivery.
Complimentary image backup is maintained for up to 2 months only. After this period, files may be permanently deleted without notice.
Long-term archiving is not guaranteed.
8. Copyright & Usage
All photographs, digital images, negatives, RAW files, and edited files produced by Cherubfoto remain the sole intellectual property and copyright of Cherubfoto at all times, in accordance with the Copyright Act of Singapore.
Upon full payment, the Client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal use only. Personal use includes printing, displaying, and sharing the delivered images with family and friends, including on personal social media platforms.
The Client shall not:
Edit, alter, crop, filter, manipulate, or otherwise modify the images;
Remove or obscure any watermark, logo, or copyright notice;
Submit the images for publication, competitions, commercial use, advertising, resale, or any business-related purpose;
Transfer, sell, license, or distribute the images to third parties without prior written consent from Cherubfoto.
Cherubfoto reserves the unrestricted right to use, reproduce, publish, display, and promote any images created during the session for portfolio display, website content, social media, advertising, marketing materials, exhibitions, competitions, educational purposes, and any other lawful business purpose.
Clients who do not wish for their images to be used for marketing or promotional purposes must submit a written privacy request prior to the commencement of the photography session. Privacy requests received after the session may not be honoured where images have already been published or incorporated into marketing materials.
"High-quality digital images" refer to files supplied at a resolution suitable for personal use, online sharing, and standard consumer printing. Cherubfoto does not guarantee colour accuracy, print quality, or archival longevity for products printed through third-party laboratories. For optimal colour accuracy, quality control, and archival standards, clients are encouraged to purchase wall art, canvases, albums, and other printed products directly through Cherubfoto.
No ownership or copyright in the images is transferred to the Client under any circumstances unless expressly agreed in writing.
9. Refund Policy
Due to the bespoke and time-reserved nature of photography services, all payments are non-refundable.
No refunds will be issued based on personal preference, baby temperament, or subjective expectations.
10. Agreement
By securing your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
